When I first heard this song, it felt so true...for Michael. I couldn't remember when it was released, but I believe it was penned from his innermost feelings...his need to cry out to the people that he is just as normal as a human can be, but is a victim of his circumstance....

Many years have past since I last hear the song. Having taught for many years, I have come across so many children growing up without a proper childhood. Perhaps it's because of the school that I am teaching in. The kids so not have time for themselves.

All their days are filled with nothing but lessons...swimming, music, computer, school work.....the list goes on....dreams of their parents are imposed upon them and their tiny little shoulders hunched from the unimaginable weight of pleasing their parents whom they hardly see. Cash and toys and maids are their constant companion. Time meant nothing but activities that sapped them of their playtime...

Perhaps, if they hear this song, they might resonate with it and start questioning..."Have you seen my childhood?" ..............

不知不觉，已经九年了。

当身边的朋友换了一份又一份工作的时候，我竟然在同一个原点辗转了九个年头...不可思议....

为了纪念这个特别的九年，我剪了头发，一个我的理发师一直不愿意给我剪的一个发型。但是，最后他还是帮我理了一个男仔头。

昨天带了学生到ACS(Ind)参加比赛。到了会场，就在门口碰见两位“老”学生。贵福四年级时在我的好公民班，芷贤三年级时是我的华文班的学生。转眼间，他们都已经是中四的学生了。

走进了会场，没过一会儿，又碰见了另一名学生，郑全理，今年中学一年级，好像在ACS(Br)。他也是代表学校来参加比赛的。他念小一的时候，是从年头被我骂到年尾的淘气鬼。

在会场的隔间，撞见了允恩。他一年级时是我教的。和他聊了好一会儿，他还是一如往昔，举止投足间，透漏着那股不温不火的特性。

8年了，在教育界待了8年了。当年那些“小矮人”，如今个个都长高了。看到他们，突然会想起自己当初刚当老师时，只会一味地责骂他们的不是，自己感到有些惭愧。如果当初给他们多一些的爱，他们会否更加的成功呢？

我老了，也慢慢有了一些改变。还是会有一些坚持，但是也慢慢得学会看开和放开。这些改变是岁月的磨练，还是环境的促成？说实在的，我不清楚。当我那天蒙主恩照时，盖棺论定的时刻，我的碑文上面应该会有一些结论吧？哈哈...到时我也已经眼不见为净了...哈哈哈........

当时的我并不太了解....

与此同时，认识了一位先师：孔子。子曰：三十而立。

当时就认为，三十岁的时候，一个人能立些什么？不外乎家庭与事业。

如今已是三十，我两者皆无。我仍孤家寡人，事业无成。脑子没其他人转得快，手段没其他人耍得狠，嘴巴没其他人的甜，交际手腕更甭提了...正所谓“两手空空，两袖清风”....呜呼哀哉....

既已不是少年，三十又未立，心中万般愁滋味蜂拥而来....

当年能够与三两个好友并足畅饮，聊到通宵，而今只能望着窗外，在灯光下，对影成三人.......

我的音乐狂想曲

最近去了Believer Music学弹键盘...

第一堂课，非常兴奋。因为终于鼓起勇气，再去当一回学生。老师好仁慈，给了我“A”。

第二堂课刚刚才上完，终于搞懂了一些音乐的原理....原来基础真的很重要。

还剩下两堂课，初学者音乐课就结束了。是不是应该继续呢？因为我不是音乐老师，没办法claim阿公给的LDS。

啧...真麻烦。不过还好可以放进TRAISI当作个人进修课的时间。不然，我今年可能达不到100个小时的培训时间。

我想还是继续学音乐吧...不然家里又会多一只“白大象”....

学校恶霸：《六月日记》应该看

星期三，学校的全职心理辅导员跟我们分享关于学校恶霸的讯息。这不禁使我想起了几年前看过的一部韩国电影《六月日记》。

为了打发连日的无聊，我便到影碟出租店租了几部影片。其中一部让我感触良多。

《六月日记》乍看之下，好像是一部悬疑警匪片。实际上，它和许多韩国电影一样，揭发了现今社会的丑态。情况不只是在韩国而已。日本、美国、欧洲，甚至全世界都有。

人们只以为只有才商场上才有永不休止的尔虞我诈。然而，学校暴力事件却层出不穷。人类的基本生存准则，在单纯的校园里展露无疑。适者生存的定律让许多生性柔弱的学生在学校内饱受折磨。而且，越有名、越高等的学府，情况就越糟糕，越会随之升等。这类暴力事件是托了科技的福，才有机会“展露矛头”。

身为师长的，应该如何面对？谁才是这群弱者的第一道防线？老师？还是父母？谁是哪位旁观者？是老师还是父母？如果把一切责任都推给老师的话，那么身为父母的人，他们又作了些什么？

在这群孩子上学之前的前六年，身为父母的，是如何教育这些稚儿的？老师在学校面对的是数以百计的孩童，有时真的被搞得精疲力尽、身心交瘁。其实很想拨出时间，聆听孩子们的心声，却面对了心有余而力不足的状况。

当这些孩子回到家时，父母可曾坐下来和孩子交心对话？年龄越小的孩子，越渴望和父母说话。因为，在他们的心目中，父母是他们的神，他们的救赎天使。他们眼中的父母是无所不能的。

所以，当您看到孩子们身上的大块淤青时，请不要怀疑是老师所造成的，也不要怀疑是孩子和人打架得来的。更不要以为是孩子在玩耍时跌伤造成的。请坐下来，和孩子谈一谈，心平气和的慰问一下，有时候您可能会成为孩子们的“救世主”。

morgan freeman and jack nicholson have always been 2 of my fav actors. everything abt them is screaming master of their trade. "the bucket list" is perhaps the 1st time these 2 "giants" collabotated.....

if there is anything that i got from the movie is that death is no respecter of man...pple in all shapes, sizes and colour are bound to leave this place in a casket...the onli things that differentiate them is how they decide to spend their last days....
